Other poets: Rumi

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing
there is a field. I'll meet you there.
...

Rumi

Imagine a place where ideals, attitude, political leanings, actions, thoughts, judgements did not matter.
Only you and me.

Maybe this is the only place we can ever meet. As two souls.

Is this Rumi's idea of heaven? A heaven without judgement? Does he imagine after our turmoil and confusions, we will all end up in the same place, in death?

Could this be his reconciliation with a loved one, or the universe?

As many times as I read this poem, I don't know where that field is. I picture it golden and sunny. And the idea of it brings me great peace.
